Participation in the ITIME project

Enterprise accelerator is aimed at start-up companies that:

  • have an innovative business idea from a broader scope of IT technologies (Telecommunications, Internet, Media, Entertainment) and
  • want to build on this idea with the help of tips and ideas of successful individuals working in these areas, thus providing the means for future implementation.

The goal of the accelerator is:

  • accelerate the emergence of new high-tech start-up companies in Slovenia and
  • promote cooperation and transfer of experience between entrepreneurs, investors and corporations.

Seminar ˝Can you find an appropriate employment˝

The past economic crisis has drastically increased the level of unemployment in Slovenia. That is why we decided to partner with the help Mojedelo.com and help addressing the question of unemployment and provide people with new jobs. The purpose of the seminar was to motivate the unemployed and encourage them in persistent seeking of employment. Seminars were held by experts from the field of human resources.

Technology and Innovation Center ("T&IC")

Technology Innovation Centre ("T&IC") is a think tank aimed at developing tools and products for online human resource solutions. It was developed in the wider Consortium Partnership of the company Mojedelo.com and its services are used by a number of clients in several foreign labor markets. "T&IC" products and services are based on successful practices of past projects, participating companies and on new business concepts and models which can be implemented in any market serviced by a "T&IC". With their help, the "T&IC" forms good business practices and develops models for their expansion. Overall, "T&IC" tries to follow the current trends in the online recruiting and their conversion into their own products:

  • Consulting in coaching – control of major projects (ect. career fairs) in local markets - monitoring the implementation of projects and ensuring the key elements of a project are carried out in the planned time interval. Training employees in local markets - from education marketers to project managers and managers of web portals.
  • Central generation of content – ect. A guidebook for job seekers, which is then translated, localized and distributed in the markets of our partners.

Green production workshops, dreams or truth?

In October we organized various workshops for promoting the use of latest technologies and innovations in the field of ecology. Workshops and lectures themes organized:

  • The issue of industry waste water
  • Methods for the determination of waste water (classical methods)
  • Biologically active compounds - a list of priority substances in the field of water policy
  • Consequences of the presence of biologically active microorganisms in water
  • Methods of detection of biologically active microorganisms in water
  • The paper industry and waste water
  • The issue of process water, mucus (extraction, analysis)
  • Addressing the issue of waste water from paper industry
  • Closing the water circuit technology white paper, Enzymatic

 

Workshop on the provision of information and communication support to sustainable projects

The workshop was organized in cooperation with an outside contractor who prepared the conceptual design and also carried out the workshop. The workshop, closely connected with the virtual online store and innovative online mobile application, presented their improvements. Both projects are at the stage of ideas and research, based on following steps:

  • Forming a final architectural design and a total conceptual structure
  • Carrying out research to define the final features of applications
  • Developing and producing applications suitable for publication and use.

Low energy wood houses workshop

The workshop was conducted on the topic of innovative low energy houses construction. Its main goal was to encourage the use of environmentally friendly building materials (mainly wood) particularly among architects, producers of wood and contractors in both public and private sector. Participants were acquainted with the theoretical innovations and practical experience in the field of wood utilization, recent trends and the latest developments in the field of timber construction.

The workshop tried to link laic and professional public in order to contribute to the most needed cooperation between the research environment and the economy - theory and practice as well as architecture, woodworking and building industry, which too often operate in isolation.

The substantive points of the workshop were as follows:

  • managerial aspect of timber construction,
  • wooden construction: a challenge and an opportunity,
  • mechanical and physical properties of wood, relevant for construction,
  • structural composite wood and other engineering wood products,
  • structural and chemical protection of wood,
  • advanced structural systems of timber structures,
  • earthquake and fire resistance of timber structures
  • sustainable wood architecture - the realized projects,
  • new developments in the field of passive construction.

Training Seminar for the FSC system of qualitative monitoring

The purpose of the technology project was the preparation of the requirements series STD-FSC, enabling the establishment of clear traceability of fibrous materials and ensuring respect for the principles on illegal logging, protection of human rights, laws and traditional rights, environmental protection against changes in non-wood forest or agricultural surface.

A more specific goal of the project was to prepare all the documentation required for a successful FSC certificate award. The best possible form would be the one providing users the support and advice of our experts, to effectively develop a system in the factory or in individual technological processes. It is a new and great marketing argument for selling products.

Especially for SKIS target audience, we have organized a workshop "So, we have developed a product, now we have to sell it". It was a workshop about the market placement of high-tech products and possible ways of successful market penetration. The purpose of the workshop was to qualify the inventors, who have already developed a product, to the extent that they will be able to sell it successfully. We have offered them full support and expert environmental consultancy which could contribute to greater implementation of innovations in the market.
